Culture and History Abound
The town centre of Busselton has an array of artistic, cultural and historical experiences on offer. A leisurely town centre walk commencing at the Busselton Visitor Centre and arriving at the final destination of the Busselton Jetty will ensure there is an experience for everyone.
For those interested in history you will discover such iconic landmarks as the Ballarat Steam Engine, St, Mary's Church, Old Courthouse Old Butter Factory, and the historic Busselton Jetty to name a few.
If you are inspired by the arts there are number of studios and galleries located through out the town centre. On display you will experience the skill and quality of local artists in works such as paintings, hand crafted furniture, pottery, photography, sculpture and jewellery. The Heritage Park and Trail is well worth a wander to explore the contemporary sculptures linking the past with the present.
For entertainment the town centre boasts a brand new cinema complex, the historical Weld Theatre which holds many varied productions and an active art and artist groups who create many annual shows in town. A number of events throughout the year also showcase local artists, talented musicians and amateur theatre.
